Construction

This opulent vessel was launched in 2002, construction is fibreglass with a semi displacement hull and shallow keel, generous beam, and foam coring above the water line. Teak interior, teak decks, moulded foredeck seating, spacious Flybridge and Portuguese bridge. Hull # 04 of the Grand Alaskan 78 series ordered with a moulded aft extension incorporating a 3’ swim platform.
Capacities: Fuel – 12,800 litres. Water – 2600 litres.
Accommodation
Sleeps 8 passengers, plus 2 crew with crew quarters and crew berths. The interior is teak throughout with teak and holly floors. VIP queen v-berth cabin with ensuite plus two large double cabins with over/under accommodations and ensuite each. The owner’s suite is full beam with king size berth, vanity, large wardrobe and double sinks in head with separate shower. Each cabin has A/C control.
Crew quarters for 2 crew with 2x single berths, washer, dryer and shower.
Saloon opens to spacious aft deck dining area. The main salon includes all teak furniture, sofa, recliner char and 42” plasma TV.
The galley is forward off the main salon, equipped with all GE profile appliances. Out board double sinks and Pearl Blue granite counters.
The pilothouse is forward of the galley and includes seating/dining area with hi/lo table which can be lowered to a berth.
The flybridge is upstairs from the pilothouse and includes seating area with BBQ and refrigerator/icemaker. There are large storage lockers and a hard bottom 2.7m inflatable with 8hp Yamaha engine.
Entertainment: 42” plasma TV in saloon and master cabin, televisions c/w dvd players to all other cabins, Bose sound system, satellite TV receiver.
