The Invicta 26 was designed by E. G. Van de Stadt in 1964. The boat has a narrow hull and transom hung rudder and characteristic round hatches.
These hardy little yachts are renowned for being beautifully balanced when under sail. The keel extends for at least half her length, and more than two-thirds her waterline length, which gives great directional stability.
Verglas is sadly down on her luck and requires some attention prior to use, following several seasons ashore. Once recommissioned, she'll make a lovely, characterful yacht once more.
